Perl/Python/UNIX/Linux Infrastructure Specialist for Core Trading Strategies Team – NY City – recruitment

My client is a Leading Global Investment Bank, well recognized for being one of the most successful banks of recent years, not just for profits, growth and success, but for its continued strength and focus on cutting edge technology. Through continued expansion of the core trading strategies team (an amazing team of computer scientists/mathematicians building a robust risk, risk and analytics platform for the whole of the fixed income, currencies and commodities business lines) we  have an opportunity for an exceptionally strong Perl/Python/infrastructure specialist to take a key role in the NY team. Your role will involve building and deploying the real-time infrastructure environment for the pricing, risk and analytics platform. You will gain a huge amount of experience to various financial products and work closely with traders, quantitative analysts and technologists.

The team is home to amazing technologists from fields such as gaming, telecommunications, aerospace etc. You will be exposed to a broad range of cutting edge technologies and be given a great amount of opportunity to innovate and introduce new ideas. Compensation will be very competitive.
