Permanent – Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst
S.i. Systems is seeking an Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst for our client, a leader in broadcasting based in Toronto. You will have 23 years of QA experience within a digital media background, have worked on multiple concurrent projects and be familiar with using Content Management Systems. This role is full time, reporting to the Manager Quality Assurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Quality Assurance Analyst will develop test plans, scripts, and suites in various computer languages to support content goals and applications of websites and the mobile platform. There is opportunity for, and an expectation of a high degree of creativity and initiative. As an integral member of the QA team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software quality assurance best practices and overall QA strategy.
The selected candidate will create testing plans, test case documents based on business and design artifacts, perform functional, performance, and useracceptance testing for application software projects, and using test plans and defect repository, generate reports detailing software' quality status and history. Prepare complete documentation on each application, upgrade, modification or enhancement produced. The documentation must be in a form appropriate and useful to operations personnel. Assist users in acceptance testing of newly developed applications, modifications or upgrades. Be able to work independently or in a team environment in the development of QA related artifacts.
Preference will be given to candidates with handson experience of mobile/smart phone platforms and operating systems, and of quality assurance in the mobile domain. Experience in Keynote or Perfecto is valuable.
