About our Client

With a team of passionate, energetic and innovative professionals, our client is a market leading retail organisation currently looking to expand its presence across Australia. Given the rapid growth, an opportunity now exists for a Personal Assistant to Managing Director and Chairman, to play a pivotal role in the development of this dynamic new business. With the Managing Director fairly new to the firm this role will require executive support and someone who can bring their past experience and knowledge to the position.

Job Description

Providing high level administrative support and supporting the Managing Director and Chairman, your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising business meetings, functions, and projects and relevant agendas
  • Arrangement of domestic travel as necessary
  • Diary management and booking appointments
  • Assisting with budget management and reporting as necessary
  • Dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
  • Collating and compiling information from store and retail reports
  • Expense management and corporate card reconciliations

 

A newly created role, the duties involved with this position will be hands-on, task-focused, and require efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success as Personal Assistant, preferably with experience supporting senior management. You will have outstanding communication skills as well as demonstrated strong planning and organisational abilities. You will be driven, proactive and be able to work autonomously. A young and outgoing individual, to be successful in this role, you will ideally be from a retail or telecommunications background. Furthermore you have specific experience in roles that have required strong client focus and a penchant for communicating and influencing at all levels. Integrity, commitment and enthusiasm are required traits, as is strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic, hands-on approach. This role is for someone seeking a new challenge and the opportunity to add value.
