You will need to have excellent negotiating, interpersonal and communication skills. Full training will be given, however experience in a motor/RTA claims environment is essential.

Key Duties

• Day 1 triage of claims to establish capture opportunities, considering the best economic settlement
• Identify and manage potential fraudulent claims
• Investigate, negotiate liability identify potential part recovery opportunities
• Proactively manage all Third Party injury claims
• Settle Third Party Claims at optimum cost
• All litigated cases requiring legal intervention, utilising our Partner
• Take ownership accountability at a claimant level
• Manage Customer and Third Party expectations throughout the lifecycle of the claim
• Effectively manage claims costs through negotiation with the third party or their representative
• Adhere to regulatory timescales and guidelines
• Technical mentor / referral point for pre-litigated claims to enhance capability development
• Keeping the customer experience at the heart of everything we do, ensuring adherence at all times to the principles of treating the customer fairly
• Successful achievement of all business targets as set out within departmental measures
