Personal Insolvency Administrator

SENIOR PERSONAL INSOLVENCY CORPORATE RECOVERY ADMINISTRATOR IN SOUTHAMPTON

Our client is looking for a Senior Personal Insolvency Administrator to work within their team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical Personal Recovery services and provide guidance to more junior members of the team.

Key responsibilities will include pro-actively maintaining a portfolio of personal insolvency cases, progressing them to closure; having thorough knowledge of Bankruptcies and VAs and have basic knowledge of all other types of insolvency cases, comprising ADMs, CVLs, CLs, MVLs, LPAs and CVAs and to draft necessary reports to secured creditors/creditors’ committees/creditors and the Court.

Other duties will include overseeing or preparing accurate books and records inventories, and taking responsibility for the safeguard, removal and storage of such from partnerships/individuals premises; maximising asset realisations and ensuring recoveries are pursued in a pro-active and cost effective way; completing VAT returns and reclaims; liaising with professional agents and production of good quality reports and letters. Adhering to statutory compliance and current legislation (Insolvency Act), best practice and the firm's policies and procedures will be essential.d out of the office when required

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ work experience within Recovery, have good compliance skills with limited supervision and the ability to anticipate and communicate problems to others in the team. They will have effective use of IT including Excel, Word and Outlook and be able to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively whilst being flexible.

This position is initially a 12 month contract so the successful candidate will also need to be available to start work at short notice.
