Personal Tax Manager with expereince with IHT
We are currently representing this large west end practice, with a growing tax department in the search for a Personal Tax Manager, with a good knowledge of IHT. They provide business and accounting services to a varied entrepreneurial client base with their core market being businesses with turnovers up to £75M.
Their recruitment policy is to find candidates who are looking for a long-term career with the firm and who have the skills and drive to make it all the way to the top. Culturally all staff are encouraged to develop relationships with clients and attend meetings with them. The expectation is that those relationships will be client facing and managed by you.
Within the role you will manage a highly varied portfolio of HNWIs, and get support from Managers within the team. The position will allow you to do plenty of advisory work, which will arise mainly from your portfolio, and ad hoc work that comes into the office. The role will allow you to work on a significant amount of capital taxes (IHT and Trusts). You will also need to be comfortable leading meetings and making decisions in front of clients, providing direct advise.
For the role you will be a personal tax specialist with broad, all round understanding of private client matters.
