Planner/Scheduler to support the BMDSS organization on the JRDC program located at Schriever, AFB CO. BMDSS maintains roughly 80 discrete project schedules. The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for supporting the BMDSS Project Management Office (PMO) and Project Mangers in drafting discrete project schedules and updating/managing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in conjunction with the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and contract requirements. The IMS must be resourced to assist JRDC Project Management Office in understanding matrix assets and personnel resource conflicts. The scheduler will help resource load the schedule artifacts and maintain accuracy of project integrated project team (IPT) assignments. Additionally, assist in developing and managing the BMDSS project/schedule management processes and facilitate integration/training across all functional areas within the organization. The Planner/Scheduler will work closely with Management, Project Managers, System Engineers and Implementation Engineers in tracking project activities against schedule baselines. Coordinate with Management, Project Managers and Task Leads in the creation of progress/status reports. Assist project managers in the development of project management plans, to include Schedule and Risk Integration. Participate in project planning/scheduling meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with minimum of 6 years experience. Must have or be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance. Excellent collaboration, teaming, communication, and presentation skills are required. Must be proactive in working with peers, customers, and managers to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Strong experience with MS Project and knowledge of scheduling methodologies (resource loading, critical path, EVMS) is required. Capability to operate within a challenging and dynamic environment is a must.


Preferred Qualifications:

Department of Defense Program Management and experience with MS Project 2007 and 2010. Familiarity with IT business methodologies. Familiarity with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) 14 Point Schedule Assessment. Experience and understanding of Risk Management and Schedule Integration.
