Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

•As a regional focal person of government project to research, identify, pursue and win government tenders in a specific province.
•Coordinate closely with project teams formed from Health Care product and sales teams to successfully create, submit and execute project bids.
•Engage in proactive project identification and planning, including early acquisition of project intelligence through key government and third party contacts.
•Work with the Government Manager and Zone sales manager to build strong relationships with government agencies involved in tendering through seminars, cooperate projects and other programs.
•Assist in on the ground project logistics and coordination.

Qualifications/Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in either medical or business field.•At least 4 years of working experience in the medical industry in either clinical or commercial field, with 2 years in a sales or marketing role.•Substantial direct experience in government tendering in the medical field; experience in medical equipment tendering preferred, pharmaceutical tendering also acceptable.•Basic understanding of government protocol; experience interacting with government officials a plus.•Strong project management and teamwork skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.•Quick learner, highly resourceful, open minded.
