Ph.D. ECONOMIC RESEARCH ANALYST recruitment
This full-time position will be responsible for conducting ongoing research on the domestic and global economic data sources that impact the financial markets. The candidate will have daily access to a wide variety of significant and well-respected economic and political reports and updates. It is critical that the information the analyst provides is both accurate and timely. The research analyst will use his/her quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to collaborate with the quantitative team in applying the information to our models. The individual must be a critical thinker with solid problem-solving abilities.
Job Qualifications:
The candidate should have or be working towards a Ph.D. in Economics with an undergraduate/graduate concentration in financial mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, or econometrics. Strong analytical, econometric, mathematical and statistical proficiencies are critical. This individual must have software competence in Matlab. Knowledge of the global markets is important.
