European Pharmaceuticals Analyst Position

Are you interested in the Pharmaceutical industry from a financial perspective? The Pharmaceuticals Equity Research team at Credit Suisse is looking for an addition to their team as a lateral hire. Please note this is a lateral role and is not part of Credit Suisse's Campus hiring programme.
Extensive training will be provided in financial modelling and accounting principles as well as a broader range of softer skills. The key requirement is experience in or knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry.
One of the main attractions of the job is early exposure to senior management in the Pharmaceutical companies, which provides an unparalled opportunity to understand how all the various players in the Pharmaceutical industry contribute to the world we live in.

Your responsibilities will include:

-      analyse key macro and micro trends affecting corporates in a specific sector

-      understanding and analysing company results

-      financial modelling and analysis

-      monitoring of news flow and updating models 

-      formulate and present thematic and stock-specific research which will have a direct impact on investment decisions and outcomes

-      analyse and present data from various sources to draw investment conclusions

-      present investment ideas to key clients of the Firm

-      support other Credit Suisse businesses globally by providing insight into key trends

Equity Research Analysts must be high calibre self-starters who possess a strong desire to learn about and understand the dynamics of an industry and companies within in so that advice can be provided to institutional investors on the share-prices in the sector. You will need to have:
