Pharmaceutical / Biotech Research Associate recruitment

As part of our ongoing efforts to create a comprehensive and world class investment platform, CRT has an immediate need in our Research department for an Associate to work with our Senior Analyst covering the Pharmaceutical sector.
About the Role:
• Provide support to Pharmaceuticals Senior Analyst through fundamental analysis and investment recommendations on the equity and credit side.
• Assist in all aspects of the building financial and valuation models. Experience with Bluematrix research tool is preferred.
• Conduct primary research through industry sources including, but not limited to, financial analysis, due diligence on industry trends, company management and strategies.
• Write comprehensive research reports and present findings; draft reports/notes on relevant investment themes, events and news.
Skills Qualifications:
Work Experience on Wall Street in a research associate (sell side) position (pharmaceuticals/biotech) is preferred.
• Excellent financial modeling skills with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with a proven commitment to delivering consistently high quality work as a self starter.
• High level of integrity, intellectual curiosity and customer focus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Education Experience
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• MBA or Masters Degree in accounting, finance or economics degree preferred
• CFA and/or CPA designation is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience working directly on conducting research covering healthcare (pharmaceutical/biotech is preferred) or an Investment Banking analyst program.
Experience with Bloomberg and Bluematrix preferred.
