Preferred Education and Experience: Outside Sales Experience in Pharmaceuticals, minimum 3 years as Pharmacy Technician with Compounding Experience

 

Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring new accounts, maintenance of existing accounts, product listing and maintenance at the Wholesaler, store visits, follow up, compounding support/research, achieving sales targets, promotion of company site and products, attendance in tradeshows/conferences, promotion of Educational Training Seminars and reporting.

 

              Desirable Characteristics:

b.                   Computer skills a must – Outlook based programs and reporting system

c.                   Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

d.                   Customer service oriented, courteous and friendly but maintain business-like relationship with clients and peers

e.                   Willingness to travel within territory on a daily and regular basis

f.                    Works well in a team environment

g.                   Takes direction well and is open to suggestions

h.                   Adheres to workplace priorities and daily routine tasks and responsibilities

i.                    Realizes the importance and value of communication within proper chain of command

j.                    Sales and commission driven and able to meet monthly/annual sales targets.

 

1.      Sales

a.       Responsible to increase visibility in pharmacies across territory with minimum 5-10 quality store visits daily

b.      Responsible to meet monthly sales minimum and targets

c.       Responsible to place calls to increase sales and provide support to customers including cold calling to acquire new accounts

d.      Responsible to distribute wholesaler lists, product brochures, catalogue, specials, Equipment Pricelists and Marketing/Promotional items

e.       Responsible to maintain constant communication with key clients head office personnel and pharmacy personnel

f.        Responsible to attend tradeshows and conferences

g.      Responsible for all other sales projects as requested

 

2.      Reporting

a.       Responsible for client contact information input to reporting software

b.      Responsible to provide daily reports via reporting software detailing store visits, contacts, issues, successes in a timely manner 

c.       Responsible to check in at Head Office regarding current promotions, initiatives, ideas that may potentially increase sales in the territory

d.      Responsible to maintain contact with Head Office regarding newly opened accounts/sales and follow up with customer

                                

 

The Territory Sales Representative reports directly to the General Manager.
