Position Description

As an FSC Pediatrics Sales Representative, you will be challenged intellectually and professionally to drive product sales in your territory.  You will have significant earnings potential.  Following product and sales training, you will work under the guidance of an experienced District Sales Manager and will have the full support of the corporate management team.  You will promote multiple pediatric-focused FDA-approved prescription pharmaceutical products and medical devices to current and potential prescribers, coordinate with local pharmacies to ensure consistent supply, and work closely with the corporate management team on the ever changing needs in general and sub-specialty pediatric practices. 

 

Position Responsibilities                                    

The Sales Representative will:

Ø  Achieve or exceed territory sales forecasts by executing marketing strategies, delivering core branded messages and achieve sales call objectives on target customers

Ø  Effectively develop and execute the needed selling skills to enhance communication, build and influence key customers to prescribe company products within labeled indications

Ø  Work with the District Sales Manager (DSM) to ensure pull through of managed care strategies with customers within the therapeutic areas and territory

Ø  Work with DSM to assess territory sales performance and market trends and suggest and implement appropriate actions to enhance performance

Ø  Maximize territory resource allocation and administrative requirements as defined by District Sales Manager

Ø  Develop and manage professional relationships with key customers and office staff

Ø  Analyze, develop and execute business action plans to drive sales performance and maximize ROI within the territory

Ø  Attention to detail within a highly regulated pharmaceutical and medical device industry

Ø  Positive, respectful, and enthusiastic attitude

Ø  Ensure compliance with all corporate and regulatory compliance expectations

Ø  Self-motivated with a determination to excel and have an entrepreneurial mentality

Ø  Understand and consistently apply FSC Pediatrics’ corporate values to everyday activities

Ø  Complete required new hire training, advanced training and testing as appropriate while continuously maintaining a high level of product and technical knowledge

PREREQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS

Ø  Bachelors Degree, preferably with a health science, marketing/business, education, psychology/communication major

Ø  Excellent presentation and communication skills

Ø  Results-oriented with demonstrated time/territory management skills

Ø  The ability to identify, prioritize and target key customers

Ø  The ability to work as a team member

Ø  A valid driver's license and a safe driving record

 

Compensation/Benefits

The Sales Representative will receive monthly base compensation, monthly car and communication allowance, uncapped monthly commissions, iPads, promotional expense and mileage reimbursement, and will be eligible for other performance-related bonuses and incentive contests.  Excellent health benefits, paid vacation, 401k, company profit-sharing.  A newly hired employee will receive four weeks of industry specific training prior to beginning territory responsibilities.
