PHARMACEUTICAL SOLUTIONS OPERATOR
Performs set-up, cleaning operation of complex equipment, chemical testing, mixing drugs, filtering drug weighing.
Maintains accurate and detailed paperwork.
Works in a restricted environment in a team setting, however, this position requires the exercise of independent judgment based on procedural knowledge and must be able to recognize and relate potential problems.
High school/GED required, Associate Degree or BS/BA in business, math or science preferred
Must have at least 2 years of production experience working in pharmaceutical or chemical industry including:
1) Experience working with computerized drug weigh programs.
2) Demonstrated experience and competence in following detailed instructions.
3) Knowledge of chemistry, the metric system, scales, and the filtration process.
4) Proven experience reading, interpreting, and performing job duties as prescribed in the operating procedure.
5) Experience reading and interpreting equipment data with the demonstrated ability to communicate work requirement and problems in a concise and accurate manner.
6) Demonstrated experience evaluating prepared solutions to confirm dissolution of all drug components.
7) Proven track record confirming cleaned equipment meets the requirements of "visually clean".
8) Experience working in a controlled temperature environment wearing clean room attire.
