In this role, you will support the Director in the hiring, evaluation, development, scheduling and supervision of the Pharmacy staff. Responsible for maintaining the hospital formulary in accordance with regulatory requirements. Responsible to assist the Director in the coordination, supervision, and participation in the preparation and distribution of Pharmacy services as well as functioning in a variety of staff activities.
To qualify, you must possess a Bachelor of Science Pharm. or PharmD, current NY State Pharmacist's License, and three to five years hospital pharmacy experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of information systems and technology, regulatory agency requirements, and establishment of staffing patterns and schedules. Initiative, vision, creativity, and flexibility a plus.
