Currently, Meijer is looking for an energetic Pharmacy Team Leader who desires to practice the profession of pharmacy in an environment that, by philosophy and policy, promotes patient care and education. The individual selected for this position must be patient directed, clinically oriented and have a vision to take Meijer Pharmacy to the next level of pharmaceutical care.
The Pharmacy Team Leader is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the pharmacy. This would include, but not be limited to; staff training, financial management, inventory control, scheduling, providing great customer service, team building, technician hiring, and pharmacy adherence to all corporate and federal and state legal policies and/or procedures.
- Valid state pharmacist license
- Administrative control of Pharmacy computer system and third party contacts
- Knowledgeable in the rules/regulations of Pharmacy drug security
- Knowledge of state pharmacy law
- Proven leadership skills with ability to supervise/train team members
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
- Effectively manage conflict to achieve desired business results
- Working knowledge of policies and procedures
- Hold others accountable for results in an appropriate and effective manner
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members, leadership, vendors, and office support staff
- Flexibility to try new things
- Ability/desire to work flexible hours
