PHARMACY TECHNICIAN 24 hours Job Location: Boston, MA General Overview Faulkner Hospital is a 150 bed non-profit, community teaching hospital located in Jamaica Plain, just 3.4 miles from the Longwood medical area, and across the street from the Arnold Arboretum. In FY 2011, Faulkner Hospital had over 7,595 discharges and provided ambulatory support services for over 195,131 patient visits. Responsibilities Part-Time position, 24 hours, rotating schedule. The primary responsibility of the Pharmacy Technician is to assist the Pharmacist by performing the technical and clerical tasks necessary for the accurate preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products to the patient care areas of the hospital. High School (or equivalent) diploma. Current Registration as a Pharmacy Technician preferred and have no disciplinary actions taken 18 years of age Hospital Pharmacy experience is preferred.
