Pharmacy Technician Job in Newark, New Jersey US

National Audit, a SCIOinspire company is seeking dynamic individuals to join our Pharmacy Technician team. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of assigned audits from beginning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for audits assigned to you to perform on site or desk audits
- Quality control audits and report results to Supervisor level
- Keeping up to date with State and Federal Regulations that apply to the profession of Pharmacy
- Identify and document overcharges
- Maintain timely communication with coordinators regarding scheduling, completion, and submission of audits
- Identify and communicate facility and provider specific issues that will impact audits
- Report any problems in the audit process to Manager for resolution
- Compile concise records and documentation
- Comply with HIPAA and other regulations regarding confidentiality of patient information
- Assist pharmacy technician contractors with questions relating to audits

Education/Skill Requirements:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician with current active license
- Audit Experience
- Minimum 2 years insurance/healthcare experience
- Excellent excel skills, word processing and database knowledge
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Strong Analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize work and demonstrate problem solving skills
- Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who is an effective time manager
- Ability and willingness to travel 50-75% of the time
