PHD/Computer Science C#/ C++ – Hedge Fund Software Developer – London or Cambridge, UK recruitment
The position is for a Junior C#/ C++ developer to work for one of the world’s leading Hedge Funds within either their London or Cambridge office. The Junior C#/ C++ Software Developer will be embarking on a new Greenfield project and will have the opportunity to design and build new components but also responsible for extending existing e-Trading infrastructure. Junior C#/ C++ Software Developer will have excellent technical design skills. Their Coding must be functionally appropriate and result in built for purpose solutions. A strong understanding of the software lifecycle is required.
The Junior C#/ C++ Software Developer will be expected to be proactive in ensuring that our components are fully capable of addressing current and future problems in financial risk and operational management. This will encompass researching, prototyping and productising all the way up the innovation curve including partnering with clients.
***The Junior Candidate must come from an excellent academic background (REDBRICK UNIVERSITY) with a year’s programming experience.***

As previously stated this role is for a highly motivated hands on Senior C# developer who is looking to work on a number of Greenfield projects managing a small team of developers. An insight into to E-Trading systems or Trading Fundamentals is desirable however not a core necessity.
