Philadelphia – Buy side Developed markets Macro Economist recruitment
The firm already have a senior economist responsible for emerging markets and are now searching for a counterpart to take responsibility for the global/developed markets.
The firm are looking for an individual with a wealth of experience and experience in at least two credit cycles. You will be expected to generate research reports for clients and also liaise regularly with clients.
In order to apply you must have experience:-
-Producing macro economic forecasts on developed markets.
-Working with clients
-Working independently
This is an excellent opportunity for a very senior individual to make the move to the buy side in a firm with a global client base. You will have the opportunity to grow a team if desired however initially you will have sole responsibility for global economies.
The organisation have traditionally invested in emerging markets and closed end funds and would now like to expand this to the developed markets space therefore you will be a key player in this transition.
Investors include pension funds and endowment funds globally however there is a huge focus on the US therefore your position is well placed.
You will be sat with the relationship management team in Philadelphia and therefore have an excellent opportunity to develop your client facing skills.
Travel with the position is an option as the teams attend a number of road shows across the US.
