Phlebotomist II Schedule : Full-time Shift : Variable Hourly Rate : $12.94 + Depending on Experience Job Category : Lab Lab Support Location : Oregon-Hood River Providence is calling a full-time Phlebotomist 2 for a rotating/variable shift at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR. In this position, you will: Register outpatient for laboratory services. Obtain and enter into the computer appropriate demographic, insurance, medical information, billing number and medical records number. Provide other clerical tasks in support of the offered medical services. Obtain accurate and reliable blood and body fluid specimens from properly identified adult and/or pediatric patients. Identify phlebotomy difficulties, defines appropriate solutions and coordinates resources. Maintain outstanding relationships with client, technical staff, patient and patient families. Required qualifications for this position include: High school graduate or GED equivalent. Graduate of college accredited phlebotomy certified program and/or one (l) year phlebotomy experience in a similar hospital setting is preferred.
