Phlebotomy Service Manager Band 6
Hays are currently looking to fill a job for a Phlebotomy Service Manager Band 6 in a busy NHS Foundation Trust serving 400,000 population in south-west Essex. The Trust provide a range of acute medical services, x-ray and blood testing facilities as well as dermatology services and full range of tertiary cardiothoracic services for the whole county and further afield.
The right post holder will be responsible for managing staff and operations of Phlebotomy Services ensuring current, effective and timely communication and liaison with other areas within and external to the Pathology service.
You will be required to plan, develop, implement and maintain and take forward all aspects of the service in consultation with all affected parties in order to provide an efficient and responsive service that meets Pathology and user needs.
This job is for 3 months initially with possible extension with variable working hours including some weekends.
