Phone Based Education Consultant
The Company:
Our client is a leading financial services business with offices nationally and the head office is based in Melbourne. As a business they provide range of business solutions which includes risk management, education, advice and marketing to clients. The business is currently going through an exciting period of growth and as such requires talented phone based education consultants to join the Melbourne team.
The purpose of this role is to:
- Make outbound calls to customers to offer products with the aim of increasing product/brand awareness
- Identify customer needs through appropriate questioning techniques
- Identify and accept where skills and knowledge gaps are apparent, and work with leaders to increase your expertise through coaching, mentoring and training where necessary
- Proactively and positively work with the team and other departments to achieve business outcomes, through effective relationship building
- Identify areas for improvement or innovation, and follow through on ideas to fruition
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role in an inbound/outbound contact centre environment ideally within the superannuation industry (outbound exp. would be desirable)
- Must have relevant industry qualifications i.e RG146 or Diploma of Financial Services
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer focus with a passion for conducting quality conversations
- Strong team ethic
- Good negotiation and facilitation skills
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and use new systems quickly
- Complaint conflict resolution experience
