Our client is a leading social marketing company who focuses on brand marketing and social media services mainly for Facebook and MySpace. They are based in Central London and are currently looking for a PHP Developer to join their highly skilled development team.
As a PHP Developer you will work on a leading platform for creating, buying, managing and optimising ads on Facebook.
The successful PHP Developer should be familiar with design patterns - both in theory and practice, be able to write object oriented JavaScript utilising jQuery and have experience of unit testing.
Essential skills:
- OO PHP5
- JavaScript / jQuery
- Any knowledge of a MVC Framework such as Zend or CodeIgniter
- Experience of code profiling and unit testing
Desirable skills:
- Experience of Non relational databases such as MongoDB
- Experience of Facebook API integration
- Experience of extreme scale, algorithmic complexity or heavy data/statistical work
- Degree from a top university in Computer Science, Engineering or Science
