Networx Online (http://www.networxonline.com) has 25 employees working remotely throughout the US and Canada.
We have a variety of products including MeetingBurner.com, PhoneBurner.com, FaxBurner.com and a variety of CRM/sales clients. We’ve been in business for 10 years and do more than $12mm per year in business.
We are looking to hire a great PHP programmer for a full-time position.
Skills Requirements
You must be an expert PHP programmer while also very good at SQL, Linux, and Apache. Experience in git, Asterisk, FreeSwitch, and mobile is definitely a benefit. Great email and phone communication skills are critical.
Rather than hiring lots of mediocre programmers, we’ve built the company by focusing on hiring the very best programmers. We currently have 6 great programmers on our team and are looking to hire a few more right now.
Due to our small team, we do not have a very structured programming environment, so you must work well within that environment. You will be asked to work on a variety of projects, so you must be able to switch gears easily.
We are looking for an absolutely incredible programmer to add to our team. We want someone who learns quickly, isn’t scared of new technology, and delivers results. You will work from home as an independent 1099 contractor. We want someone who loves to work hard and who loves programming. Most of us work a lot of hours. But honestly, working from home without the commute time and other b.s. makes it very easy to work a lot.
Our culture is a fast paced, get-it-done sort of company. That means we are constantly balancing the need to build something fast vs. build something well. You must be able to do both and be ok when asked to build something quickly versus build it perfectly.
