Award winning London Docklands based company that provide secure hosting and global connectivity services have an immediate requirement for a PHP/MYSQL Application Developer to join their fast expanding OSS/BSS team. The OSS/BSS team is responsible for developing and supporting applications based products, the IT/IS systems, and the back office applications for the company (eg Billing, Order Management, CRM etc).
The role entails developing new applications, operationally supporting the applications(ie participating in an on-call rota system to provide 24/7 support), and training end-users in the applications.
The ideal candidate must possess a proven track record in application development utilising LAMP ( Linux, Apache, MYSQL, PHP or Python), basic experience of developing web services, strong Linux and database skills (MYSQL, SQL), as well as proven experience of deploying and configuring opensource applications.
The salary on offer is up to £30,000 inclusive of on-call allowance, coupled with a full benefits package.
