The Applications Development group within Distance Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA) at NC State is seeking a PHP Web Developer who will have a primary focus on the Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle.

Position Responsibilities
This position is part of the Applications Development team. This team designs, tests, modifies and retrofits software used by DELTA's internal and external clients. This position will have a primary focus on Moodle development. This will include integration and customization needed for use at NC State and also possible development that will be given back to the Moodle community. This position would also do some general applications development and support for DELTA as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with nine credit hours in programming and one year of experience in business application consulting or development; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Previous experience working in a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) environment.
- Knowledge of current web design technologies; including HTML/XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Moodle.
- Experience with data management in MySQL or another database.
