Job Description Job Classification: Contract Job Title: Physical Design Engineer Duration: Contract 6-9 Months Company: Professional engineering environment, Very team oriented KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. To work within a team of other Physical Design Engineers 2. Task to include: Chip level floorplanning, Bus/Pin Planning, clock tree insertion, Routing and timing optimization, Fullchip Timing Closure (Static Timing Analysis), Power Analysis and Physical Verification. 3. Flow development and scripting. 4. Technical problem solving. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - 5-8+ years of Industry experience in ASIC Design with relevant Physical Design Skills preferred. - Strong Scripting Knowledge--Perl scripting is an asset. - Working experience of CAD tools from Synopsys, Cadence and Mentor Graphics is preferred. - Physical design experience with GPU OR CPU preferably at 28 nm - Highly Motivated and Enthusiastic to work on the latest technology Join Aerotek, one of the leading providers of engineering and engineering support professionals in North America.
