Physical Sugar Trader, Geneva
My client, a leading physical soft commodities house are developing their global sugar platform, and seeking an experienced sugar team to join their soft commodities team in Switzerland.
This position would suit an experienced individual with established relationships across the sugar markets, currently managing a portfolio including relationships with end buyers of physical sugar, ideally across West, North, and Central Africa.
Responsibilities of Physical Sugar Trader, Geneva (Physical, Sugar, Soft Commodities, Trading, Switzerland, Geneva, Africa)
• Trading and marketing of physical sugar to maximize commercial revenue
• Maintaining and developing commercial relationships with end buyers of bulk sugar across North Africa, West Africa and Central Africa.
• Using and performing market analysis to implement appropriate trading strategies
• Provide support to business development teams and close liaison with other regional teams
Skills - Attributes required for Physical Sugar Trader, Geneva (Physical, Sugar, Soft Commodities, Trading, Switzerland, Geneva, Africa)
• A broad exposure to physical sugar markets, with a focus on African markets for destination. Established relationships with end buyers are preferred over relationships with brokers.
• A minimum of 8-10 years experience in physical sugar trading
• Be willing to be based in Geneva
