PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of physical therapy patients at the hospital and satellite clinic(s) per care plan toward goals, as well as the supervision of staff as assigned by the Manager/Director of Rehabilitation Services.
This person must implement the spirit and philosophy of the Adrian Dominican Sisters and will ensure that the rights of the patient and/or family are safeguarded (by observation and documentation).
Experience
Entry level accepted. 1 year of hospital based, acute care practice.
Education
Required: Graduated from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
Preferred: Completed post graduate education, or possesses certification or CEU's in Acute care, geriatrics, wound care, orthopedics, pediatrics, NICU neurology or any other clinically relevant coursework/seminars.
Special Skills
Required: Ability to communicate effectively utilizing computer, verbally and in writing in English. Ability to perform basic functions of Microsoft Office.
Preferred: Advanced experience with computer software programs and clinical documentation in Hospital based practice. Multi-lingual, Spanish, Tagalog
Licensure
Licensed Physical Therapist in State of NV and Basic Life Support CPR.
