Memorial Rehabilitation, a division of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, is a comprehensive rehabilitation organization, whose primary purpose is to serve the greater Los Angeles and Orange Counties . Memorial Rehabilitation offers a full continuum of rehabilitation services in a cost-effective manner. About the Opportunity
The Physical Therapist I assess and reassess patients. Plans, develops, monitors and evaluates patient treatment plans and goals. Provides treatment for each assigned patient to meet patient goals, treatment and productivity standards. Schedules patient treatment. Meets regularly with assistants, aides and techs to update treatment plans. Maintains a medical record for each patient to allow documented communication with physician and to comply with hospital, departmental, and third party payors. Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. A Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required. A current licensure/certification (or eligibility) in the State of California is required. Must possess a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience in acute rehab is preferred. Must be able to work a minimum of 1 weekend day per month. A clinical affiliation in a pediatric setting is recommended. Preparation for CCS paneling.
