Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers, WI provides our patients with a unique opportunity to recover while seeing the breathtaking view of the sun off Lake Michigan. In addition, our position allows for work/life balance through your choice of 4 or 5 day work weeks. Working with an experienced, multi disciplinary team consisting of 35+ Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists. In addition, our rehabilitation services include cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitiation, pacemaker clinic, sports medicine and massage therapy. Being recognized as a professionally licensed physical therapist through the direct access PT services that eliminates the need for a physician referral. Working with a team that is the perfect size to provide the resources and support you need, while giving you the ability to build relationships with your patients and physicians. Planning for and completing patient discharge including written home programs, patient/family teaching, referring for community services and ordering equipment. Participating in performance improvement activities designed to identify and resolve problems affecting patient care outcome and to improve quality of care. Pursuing professional educational growth through participation in continuing education courses, department in-services, and reading professional literature.
