Hays Healthcare is seeking Band 6 Physiotherapist in North Yorkshire to provide specialist assessment and treatment of patients within the Ministry of Defence.
You will be able to work autonomously without direct supervision for patients with a range of neurological diagnoses and be accountable for your own professional actions.
You will be required to participate in research, clinical evaluation, and audit, some of which is complex and multi faceted, across the Physiotherapy Neuro rehab service and within the Neuro multidisciplinary team.
You will have relevant post graduate experience working at post-graduate level in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions, mobilisation and manipulation, experience in assessing and treating traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and MS. You must have previously held a post as a Specialist Physiotherapist Band 6 or equivalent.
To be eligible for this role, you MUST be HPC(HCPC) registered AND be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP). MoD experience would be an advantage. Up to date proof of immunisation against TB, Hep. B, Rubella, Measles, Mumps is MANDATORY.
