JOB SUMMARY Pickup and Delivery Drivers obtain their daily assignments and inspect their loads and the equipment prior to leaving the facility. PD Drivers operate commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban, and rural areas in all weather conditions to pickup and deliver freight. The pickup and delivery of freight require the loading and unloading of freight in varying conditions at both Company and customer facilities utilizing the same techniques and procedures as a dock worker. PD Drivers improve and update their professional skills on an ongoing basis.
