Incumbent would provide support to PPI engineers by completing routine and non-routine trials in the PPI pilot plants and plant production areas. Position requires ability to work independently and to plan, procure, set up, and modify non-routine equipment and instrumentation to execute trials. The incumbent would be required to assemble data and report results while interfacing with engineers, technicians, designers, vendors, plant operations, and project work teams. Travel, overtime, and occasional rotating shift work for round the clock operation are required.

The incumbent must possess outstanding safety awareness, electrical and instrumentation experience and an overall mechanical ability, with enhanced trouble shooting and problem solving skills. This self-motivated position also requires: willingness to accept new challenges, ability to work with diverse teams, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to work on multiple tasks with limited supervision and significant time constraints. The effective use of Microsoft Office products relating to data manipulation and report generation are required. Related technical degree, equivalent training or previous related experience, especially in acetate mixing, filtration, spinning, electrical, instrumentation, and Delta V controls are desirable.
