Plan Analyst recruitment

Role deliverables:
As a key part of the support team, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the following deliverables and activities:
• Maintain the overall programme plan
• Maintenance of the dependencies within the programme and the integrated plan
• Produce updates to the plan
• Track the status of lower level plans
• Regular aggregated highlight and status reports.
 

Experience required
• Created project and programme plans in collaboration with dept/functional managers and stakeholders
• Knowledge of project lifecycles (inc. deliverables) and their use in the creation and maintenance of project and programme plans
• Knowledge of system lifecycles (inc. deliverables) and their use in the creation and maintenance of project and programme plans
• Understanding of PMO functions – planning change management, reporting, governance, project control (i.e. project stage gates), risk/issue/dependency management and budget/resource management

• Qualification in Prince2, PMI, MSP (or other OGC/project management methodology) – advantageous but not essential
• Microsoft Visio skills, sufficient to represent product breakdowns
• Advanced user of Microsoft Project
• Expert user of the MS Office suite and Microsoft Excel in particular
• Experience of Microsoft SharePoint and Project Server (desirable).
