Planner, Merchandise - Business Process Team

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Planner, Merchandise (Business Process) will be part of a team that represents the Chico’s brand’s planning allocation interests as a liaison to the Technology team through prioritization of requests and management of full-time and part-time resources.

This role will assist the Director Business Process in ensuring success of their assigned deliverables thorough planning and execution of brand engagement and change management activities. The team provides a balanced point of view between the Technology and Business perspectives when critical decisions and constraints are faced.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail (specialty retail preferred), with roles of increasing responsibility in merchandise planning
• Minimum 2 years experience in complex, integrated system implementations and/or large scale change managements or process Improvement
• Ability to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
• Able to work in ambiguous situations; can effectively manage change, risk and uncertainty
• Very strong computer skills with Microsoft Office products
• Proven knowledge of retail-specific functional policies and procedures
• Ability to learn advanced business system and process functionality
• Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills; excellent written and verbal communication
• Bachelors degree in Business or a related field
