Planner, Store Inventory - Outlets

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To plan and facilitate allocation strategies that ensures effective inventory management at the store / class level.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategize, develop and manage execution of allocation plans for stores; accounting for climate transition, key marketing events, space challenged stores, overall capacity and volume.
• Develop store sales and inventory plans at the store / class level; making necessary adjustments to receipts and transfers based on a forward looking view, tying back to company financial objectives.
• Influence cross functional business partners such as Merchandise Planning, Field Management, and Store Operations to communicate and build strategies that support identified risks and opportunities to meet business goals
• Perform ongoing analysis of store profitability, inform leadership and make recommendations regarding proper inventory and assortment composition.
• Strategize with and influence cross functional team to build assortments using a store clustering process, increasing top line sales, margin and profitability through tailored assortments and reduced choice counts where necessary.
• Develop and execute new store inventory plans ensuring correct assortment and product levels; remains abreast of store closings to ensure inventory is managed profitably.
• Develop relationships with Field Leadership in an effort to provide Most Amazing Personal Service to our internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations or other related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience in specialty retail allocation and 2 years experience as a store planner
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong aptitude with numbers
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong background in data analysis and retail allocation experience required
• STS/PKMS and/or SAP experience a plus
• Ideal candidate will have PC proficiency with a strong emphasis in Excel
