Responsible for the execution of the demand and supply planning process. The major responsibility is the governance of the sales and operational planning process (SOP) as well as guarantee materials availability (Raw, Pack and FG) to fulfill the day to day operation for the plant and sales organization (Supply Planning Process) by meeting or exceeding the cost expectations defined.
- Lead the SOP scorecard revisions as well as the definition and execution of action plans generated to improved performance.
- Provide development leadership to all employees under the SOP Caribbean organization.
- Participate and support multi-functional and/or multi-country teams for projects, launches and initiatives as required.
- Support the product supply operating model.
- Build tight integration within PS functional organization by increasing mutual understanding/closeness and to open doors for the best practice/opportunities in the SOP process.
- Maintain direct connectivity with divisional SOP organization.
- Communicate clearly timely. Give clear directions and priorities
Demand Planning Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of the sales and operational cycle meetings.
- Assure cross – functional alignment trough the different meetings in the SOP process.
- Guarantee the right capabilities, in terms of the necessary tools, to provide the required analysis to meet the forecast expectations and improve the balance between resource consumption and results.
- Deliver forecast accuracy targets.
- Foster a continuing improvement in the SOP process to pursue and support company’s financial commitments.
- Enhance the Planning and execution of Commercial Activities / Initiatives.
Supply Planning Responsibilities
- Assure the Supply of Products based on the Aligned SOP Forecast
- Assure the customer service level for raw, pack and finished goods product by having the inventory levels aligned with the policy defined.
- Minimize working capital by leading the execution of the supply planning process with consistency, with the right analysis and the continuing improvements across all internal functional activities.
- Assure continuing assessment for the inventory policy to meet company’s sales and cost commitments.
Requirements:
- BA in Material Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- 5-7 years of Sourcing/Planning experience
Skills and Competencies:
- Cross functional team leadership and influence.
- Analytical, Strategic thought leadership.
- People Management Experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- PC Literate: Excel (Int.), Lotus Notes (Basic), Word (Int.), Access (Int.), MAS-90 (Adv.), Power Point (Int.) (SAP Preferable).
- People development and Management skills.
