Position Description:
Job Responsibilities:
•Assist with the management of the ALIUS PP HSER program the site helping to insure compliance with all governmental regulations and ALIUS policies and procedures
•Assist Plant Manager with safely operating the plant; continuously improving reliability, availability and efficiency
•Direct the implementation of solutions to operations and/or maintenance problem areas for air separation units including compressors, expanders, pumps and cryogenic distillation columns
•Direct quality assurance of workmanship and procedures
•Work in concert with the Zone Engineering Group to analyze major breakdowns and collect data to report on cause of failure and actions to reduce or eliminate the chance of reoccurrence
•Responsible for supervising the operations and maintenance functions as directed by the Plant Manager to ensure that the plant safely and properly operates and maintains equipment in a cost effective manner with high standards of quality
•Coordinate with the Zone Engineering Group on materials specification for work where upgrades are required or service conditions warrant a change
•Direct design modification efforts for all existing plant equipment
•Oversee the planning, scheduling, and material procurement for maintenance jobs and turnarounds
•Coordinate efforts to provide quality control of local warehouse materials and spare parts
•Participate in Failure Mode and Effect Analyses (FMEA) and Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA)
•Follow up on recommendations and action plans to ensure compliance
•Assist in training and coaching of operations personnel
•Assist in writing SOP's and specifications
•Assist in qualifying vendors.

General Requirements:
•Engineering degree or equivalent
•Excellent planning and organizational skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•5+ years of plant operations experience in air separation plants
•Rotating equipment, controls experience and/or continuous process experience is preferred
•Experience in the use of Microsoft office application
•Experience in the supervision of personnel is preferred
