Plant Maintenance Manager - Chemical Plant

If you are a Plant Maintenance Manager with chemical/rotary kiln operations experience, please read on!

This position is located in Dugway, UT (about 1 hour from Salt Lake City).

What you need for this position:

-This is a hands on maintenance manager position, not an operations role. Candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment. Candidates should have strong Mechanical/Electrical skills.
-BS in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelors degree in a related field with incineration experience.
-In depth knowledge of chemical plant operations, rotary kiln operations, PSM, RCRA/TSCA, CMMS, budgeting, forecasting, good communication skills, and administrative capabilities.
-Management experience with supervising maintenance supervisors, planners, and plant engineers.

What you'll be doing:

•Function as part of the plant management team.
•Manage all preventive maintenance and repair for two incineration trains, water plant, and mobile equipment.
•Effectively plan plant turnarounds.
•Manage unionized maintenance department personnel.
•Improve the training of maintained personnel.
•Manage contractors.
•Write and/or update Standard Operating Procedures.
•Monitor the inventory of spare parts to assure continued operation.
•Prepare reports and cost forecasts.
•Coordinate maintenance activities with plant operations personnel.
•Assure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
•Assure compliance with plant and corporate policies.
•Initiate cost improvement projects.
