Plant Manager

 

Main Goal: 

 

Provide manufacturing leadership and excellence to execute strategies and plans to meet short-term and long-term operational requirements and deliver a world-class operation. Plans for production resources (manpower, machinery, equipment and tools, facilities and raw materials) and manages all aspects of operations to include continuous improvement of manufacturing, scheduling, and production planning.

 

Objectives:

 

·         Ensures quality standards are established met to contain costs, minimize scrap and meet ISO:9001 standards

·         Develop, implement and manage policies and procedures required  to effectively execute all production, scheduling and material logistics

·         Ensure materials and production flow efficiently through plant, maximizing equipment and resources; and containing inventory, downtime, changeovers, etc 

 

Required Credentials:

·         10-15 Years of Operational Management experience, preferably in a CNC manufacturing environment.

·         Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field of study

·         An in depth understanding of manufacturing work flow and machine efficiency to meet on time customer delivery goals.

·         Demonstrated experience using Continuous Improvement or related strategies (Lean, TPM, 5S, Six Sigma) to drive performance.

·         Strong leadership skills including the ability to implement change, influence business strategies, and resolve conflict.

·         Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity and change.

·         Prior military experience a plus, preferably in the ranks of a Commissioned Officer or E6 and above.
