MANAGER/BATCHER
An opportunity exists for a Plant Manager/Concrete Batcher to join our team at our new plant in Hallam. This role involves customer liaison, order entry, batching concrete and the operation of the plant, in addition to stock control and general maintenance of the plant equipment, as well as communication with drivers, staff and management.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring customer requirements are met in a courteous, professional timely manner
- Operating computerised Batch Plant and Docket Despatch System
- Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs
- Operation and maintenance of plant equipment
- Oversee drivers and other staff
- Ordering of raw materials
- Completion of basic documentation associated with the batching and delivery of concrete.
Ideally, you will have relevant concrete industry experience, a strong work ethic, be able to prioritize tasks, have computer literacy, sound customer service experience and excellent communication skills with customers, management staff. A current HR driver’s licence and front end loader ticket are preferable.
