About the Job
PLANT MECHANIC Johns Manville Corporation in Waterville, OH has immediate openings for full-time Plant Mechanics with 6 years verifiable experience. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with a journeyman's card. Candidate should be experienced in heavy industrial machine repair to include pumps, gear boxes, hydraulics, rigging, and alignment using dial indication, proficient in welding, knowledgeable in repair of pneumatics controls, and able to run mills and lathes. Candidates must be able to work any shift, including swing shift, work holidays and weekends, work overtime, lift/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, and demonstrate proficiency in typical mechanical assignments. Candidates must also be able to pass a written exam and a skills test. The negotiated rate of pay is $21.84 per hour plus benefits.
