PLATFORM PRICING AND INSIGHT CONSULTANT recruitment
The team delivers the complete proposition to customers of the platform, including research development, pricing, communications and service and client management propositions, with the aim of creating and effectively communicating a market leading proposition.
The Platform Proposition team exists to design, develop and take to market compelling customer and intermediary platform based propositions and to facilitate the achievement of the Platform Business’s customer and commercial objectives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the Platform Proposition team in delivering propositions that can support the Platform Business’s commercial Profit and Loss targets.
- Manage relationships with key external stakeholders including end customers, business intermediaries, key suppliers and partners.
- Develop and grow strong relationships with peers and senior management colleagues.
- Ensure the pricing strategy is able to support the required commercial objectives and agreed risk approach.
- Develop and manage the platform proposition approach to special deals including adviser and customer special deals.
- Work closely with the lobbying team to produce appropriate visibility and interpretation of legislative and regulatory change.
- Provide appropriate platform related insight to the Platform business including analysis of the market and business written.
Core Requirements:
- Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and the platform market in particular.
- Good understanding of platform propositions and distribution channels.
- Good knowledge of marketing theory, principles and practice.
- Understanding of profitability measures, targets and drivers.
- General knowledge of legislative, regulatory and compliance requirements / issues and how they effect the Individual market.
- Experience of financial and strategic planning.
- Business related degree with a recognised professional marketing qualification e.g. CIM, IDM.
