Platforms Technical Lead Job in Melbourne 3000, Victoria Australia

 

We are seeking a Platforms technical lead to join a leading utilities company and provide a varied set of server and systems support services. You will be required to identify and respond to server and server infrastructure related incidents and problems associated with availability, configuration, operations, performance and capacity.

 

 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day support and problem solving of the server fleet, aiming for high availability and responsible for all components such as firmware, anti-virus, management software, operating systems being kept up to date and patched according to the company’s patching policy.  You will also be responsible for completing daily functions such as systems health checks successfully and within agreed Service Level Agreements.  This may require local or remote management of the server fleet.  In addition there will be standard alerts for the server fleet that need to be proactively managed.
