Employment Plus is currently seeking a Plating Operator in the Lawrenceburg, KY area.

 

            Job Title: Plating Operator

            Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Sets up and controls continuous plating lines for various finishes for metal parts from stamping operations as required by production demands by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1.  Operates plating lines as production requirements demand.

               

  1.  Maintains area in clean condition.

 

  1.  Assists in the proper addition of chemicals as necessary.

 

  1.  Examines product to verify product acceptability.

 

  1.  Assist in the proper disposal of waste products from the plating operation.

 

  1. Comply with Compliance Program including Environmental, Quality, Health Safety, and Confidential Information Management guidelines.

 

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education/Experience: 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.  The employee is required to wear appropriate safety protective equipment at the proper times and in the proper environments as required by safety program rules.
