Overview
You are a detail-oriented self starter, a designer of electrical controls, PLC programming Servo drives, a strong desire to learn combined with the willingness initiative to meet the challenges in a wide variety of 'hands-on' situations throughout North America.
Here is What You Will Be Doing
Functions
1. Programming automation and controls systems involving PLC’s.
2. Must be able to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up.
3. Ability to develop and implement standard Engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion.
4. Perform field service work, such as the installation commissioning of new equipment and the repair, modification or upgrading of equipment.
5. Perform electrical pneumatic troubleshooting on equipment and components.
6. Assist in programming changes or upgrades.
7. Train operators maintenance staff in the operation maintenance of equipment.
Are you Qualified?
Experience
1. Must have proven experience in PLC logic and programming with Allen Bradley, Siemens.
2. Willing to travel for onsite commissioning and training
3. Working programming knowledge of Control Logix 5000
4. Working knowledge of RSView Studio ME Software
5. Sine Servo and VFD exposure
6. Must have previous experience in Packaging, Food Processing, Pharmaceutical industries
7. Computer applications
a. Some design experience in AutoCad
b. Minimum 2-3 years experience in the automation field
c. Microsoft Office applications
Academic:
BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering desired.
