PM – Technical Implementation recruitment
You will be responsible for implementing cash and treasury management solutions for the EMEA client base; managing one of the teams that are responsibility for technical project management of cash and treasury management solutions. You will drive consistency in technical implementation working with both the regional managers as well as with the global leads, all whilst ensuring that local adaptability is achieved where necessary. You will play a key role in the team’s goal-setting and actively contribute to the EMEA strategy, identifying and pursuing new initiatives. As the team’s manager you will provide an active contribution to and take the lead for EMEA strategy and activity in multiple projects that deliver new product and capabilities for the global business; actively develop members of the team and build bench strength across the group, to best position the team to meet growth.
The team’s primary function is implementing EDI payments and reporting solutions for the bank’s clients. You will service the clients with regards to project managing the implementation of solutions, covering standard product/service offerings (i.e. Electronic File Delivery, Global Advice), or the design and definition of more complex requirements (Host to Host set ups). Oversee the delivery and execution of the project in line with agreed delivery timelines. Constantly providing consultancy and assistance to Sales and Product Teams to win new business, and in the ongoing development of new services and products.
You will be responsible for the preparation of PowerPoint presentations to present design of Cash Management solutions to new and existing clients.
It is essential you must be able to demonstrate:
- Strong experience within client facing roles, both orally and written, preferably within a similar implementation/client on-boarding function
- Strong leadership and management of teams across time zones; ability to lead virtual teams and performance management and coaching abilities and workflow Management and team delivery
- Ability to drive large scale change (people, process and organisational) across multiple functions
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, organisation and team skills
- Demonstrate ability to make decisions in the face of uncertainty
- Proactive approach to identifying and managing risk
- Good analytical skills, creative, a problem solver
- Demonstrate the ability to navigate and influence across a variety of local and regulatory environments
- Broad understanding of cash and treasury management products, eBanking and eCommerce systems, Global File/Message Networks, the various GBS components that facilitate Payment initiation and Information reporting services
- A focus on quality, creative thinking
- An understanding of the various clearing systems in Europe and the payment options available
- Assist clients with formatting local and cross border transactions to facilitate a high percentage of Straight Through Processing.
- Good working knowledge of the global GPS business
- Self motivation to identify and promote new improved processes and procedures, to strengthen risk control and time to revenue
- Ease to travel as required to meet client needs
- Language skills are advantageous
- Project Management discipline, e.g. PMI or Prince2
