Job Description: Do you have a strong background in medical billing and accounts receivable management? Are you familiar with reading EOB's and remittance advices? Have you previously worked at a medical facility or clinic? Than Adecco may have the ideal position for you! Adecco is currently looking for qualified candidates to work for our client in Brooklyn Center as an Aging Representative. This position is for a company that specializes in professional medical billing and professional aging management. A desired candidate would be one that enjoys working with aging accounts and has a vast knowledge in medical billing; hardworking and self motivation is a must! Job Requirements for the ideal candidate: - Must be experienced (at least 2+ years) with medical accounts receivable management and or aging accounts - Must be able to read and understand EOB's in depth - Experience with automated medical billing systems - Must be skilled and experienced with standard PC programs such as Excel and Word (other software experience is an added plus) - Excellent oral and written communication - Must be able to handle large volumes of work, including organizing and prioritizing - Will be working with self pay accounts for clients - Experience with online payer eligibility and claims status verification tools - Strong familiarity working with, researching, and understanding the process of denials Are you familiar with CPT codes and ICD 9 coding as well?
